Culture for Prosperity
From April, 12th to April, 15th 2023
The Kenya National Commission for UNESCO (KNATCOM) was celebrating the 4th National Cultural Celebrations, as well as its 10th years of service as a state corporation.
On the occasion, four days of celebrations were organized at the Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC) in Nairobi.
Cultural performances and exhibitions took place under the theme "A Decade of Excellence - Enhancing Development, National Cohesion, Identity and Pride".
These celebrations showcased KNATCOM's contributions to Kenya's development in the areas of education, natural sciences, human and social sciences, culture and communication and information.
Kenya's cultural heritage and diversity were also featured through the participation of different cultural groups from the 47 counties of the country.
Our KVSO members had the pleasure to attend these four days of celebrations.
